Bad habits die hard... procrastination, for instance.
This post should've been published quite some time back...
Once again I shall escape (or atleast I think I shall) with a procrastinator's favorite phrase, "Better late than never"!

As Bir Das (of News on the Loose fame) is fond of saying, "It has been an interesting week (the last week obviously)".
Lots of work without any feedback or acknowledgement, and in the end a mid-year appriasal with screwed up grades. Sometimes I wonder whether working here is really worth it. When you expect a lot after putting in lots of efforts, and in the end you end up with "Meeting the expectations" grade, frustration is but expected. To top it all, you land a better grade for the extracurrics... sheesh! Talk about adding insult to injury.
The time spent at office last week is all a blur, save for some nice moments. At home, we were back to the stoneage. No electricity till Saturday. Phone discharged... missed Wimbledon...

The weekend was entirely different though. Found a temporary solution to the electricity problem. Spent the day roaming around as the rain God had mercy on Puneites and all that needed to be braved was a drizzle. Then the evening... words fail me but I'll try nonetheless. An awesome dinner with lots of talk and just getting lost in time, followed by the sexy ride to the multiplex.
Now comes the best part... catching the 11 PM show of HR's movieee :D I thought that our group would be the only 5 people to catch the show (I even imagined people jeering at us and passing comments on us) but turns out that hordes of people, young and old, were already there! Hype can work wonders! Lucky me, now I will not be the last person on the surface of this planet to have not watched this awesome showcase of budding talent! LOL. Ahem. Go watch it, or you'll be the odd one out :p And don't have great expectations... it's not a blockbuster but also isn't like some of the shit masqueraded as movies that I've watched.

After sleeping at half past 3 on Sunday morning, wrote the mock test in a daze, but I was way too happy to let the crappy performance affect me. It happens na that sometimes come what may, you retain your good mood (even bad mood at times) and it takes a lot to change that. The cuppa and that freshly roasted, delicious corn cob... the slight drizzle... the awesome final which Nadal should've won (he definitely outplayed Fed-ex and his loss was very depressing)... weekends are so cool!

That was what last week was about... two days into the new week and the romantic mood persists... and with good reason. Worklessness leading to long hours spent over the phone, gchat and at the mailbox, half of the time communicating with people in the adjoining cubicles. Sighs. But certain things are taking an ugly turn, and waiting for developments. Funny, it is, this blend of good mood and being a sourpuss :S

The feeling of suffocation by sitting indoors is too much to bear... I guess I'll go outside and have some fresh air.

I felt so bad for Nadal, he equally deserved to win .But it all boils down to luck as Fedex said in the end.
