Nothing like it!
Long long ago, I had seen this movie named Aa gale lag ja... good ol' Hindi movie from the yesteryears!
After all these years, I have somehow managed to retain in my memory one of its songs even though I've forgotten what the movie was all about (save for details like Shashi Kapoor and his handicapped son singing songs in and around a skating rink somewhere in Himachal).
Tera mujhse hai pehle ka naata koi is one helluva awesome song, and though I love strumming a plethora of songs on the guitar, this one has gotta be my favorite!
Love playing this stanza in particular:
Waadein gaye baatein gayii, bheegi bheegi raatein gayii,
Chahe jise mila nahin, toh bhi koi gila nahin...

Mundane Monday!
Mondays will be Mondays.
And I will always dread them... no matter how well they end at times! :P
It is a dark night... the fireflies that make up SC2 aren't glowing; all the neighboring houses are shrouded in black; and I've deliberately switched off all lights in my house.
Sitting in the balcony, staring into oblivion.
Bathed in darkness, the music emanating from the gentle strumming of the guitar seemed like a magic drug.
3 down, 1 more to go! Vacillating... Contemplating.. Waiting...

Perfecto!!
There are good days, and then there are awesome days... today fell in the latter category!
(For inquisitive souls: I tend to blog about the remaining days and forget them :p)
My favorite alarm clock woke me up today! Quite a start to the day!!
Lots of running around in the morning... Thank God the camera is not broken!
Lazy day at office... one of the days when there is zilch work! Total mastiii :D
Nothing beats leaving from office before sunset!!
I simply love Galleria Mall... spent over an hour shopping and playing different guitars in the music instrument shop there! No match for my Yamaha... in the acoustic category, that is :p
Back home, replaced my guitar's strings with new ones! Yo baby!!! Now to sit in the balcony and keep strumming... yet again it struck me as odd how strumming comes so naturally after a long break :O
Long cheerful conversation with the folks back home... everything's perfectly fine ;)
Heavy dinner at Sadabahar... the way we're going, who needs to set up a messy kitchen?! :P
Awesommmeeee news at the end of the day... had been anticipating it but still the 'what if' kept haunting me! No more of that!!!
So happyyyyy for you, kiddo :)) The next stage is going to be a cakewalk for you, believe me... ;)
And there is no way you're escaping giving me a biiiig treat this time round :|

No pain, no gain...
There's nothing like punishing yourself to push your limits... helps you realize what all you're capable of!
And you can keep testing your endurance further... there's no stopping!
Funny how I seem to draw parallels between life, gymming, jogging, strumming, and so many other things in this regard...
All of these seem to be governed by a common set of principles.
It's a matter of motivation... you need to have the passion for something to take it up: be it living life to the fullest, hitting the gym, going for jogging, or simply picking up the guitar.
After that, it's all a matter of patience really, hanging in there and not giving up... appreciating things moving in slow motion is a skill, especially in today's fast moving world!
It's about countless repetitions before getting what you want... over and over and...
It's about hitting lows, looking up, and appreciating the climb that awaits you...
Plus the ability to tolerate pain... the climb isn't a cakewalk *ouch*
But yeah! Eventually the wait, the pain, the effort, everything for that matter is worth it... always :)

Us @ Guitar point!!
Tonight I lived a dream. A long cherished one.
Sitting at the guitar point with a bunch of close friends and singing, strumming away to glory! :)
Add to that the masti at A-top and sleeping on the roof under the clear blue sky, and that completed an awesome evening!
Sunita, Sud, Shail, Kumar, Rahul all are leaving tomorrow.
Anchit leaves the day after.
Then comes Chandu's turn!
The countdown to my becoming the last man standing has begun :D
I'll have just one pillar of strength remaining after that...
Oh well! Every night till the 28th is going to be a party night... anything to dull the pain!
What after that?! I seriously don't know.

Yaaron :)
Today I realized what all was missing from life of late!
First of all, those long talks... today's conversation was like a flashback!
The list that follows is long! I so hate exams and what not for playing spoilsport :x
Previously we used to continuously discover how sme sme we are... but today crossed all limits!
How can someone dream the same dream that you dreamt, and, in it, feel the same emotions that you felt?!
I'm truly amazed :)
Couldn't see of my parents today :(
But I saw off a couple of good friends in the afternoon.
Every time I walk past their empty rooms with shut doors now, I can't help but wonder whether they're in there or whether they've gone for a wash!
Once I hit the door, and it sways away to reveal an empty room, devoid of all traces of occupation, I realize that they've really left for good...
Loved the visit to Delhi... standing at the 10th floor window of a building which was facing away from CP, I felt so nice!
The view was breathtaking, and I felt so in command for a few minutes :D
In the past 2 years, I had always awaited such a party!
I always had this dream of playing the guitar in one of our gang parties... today I did it!
And how awesome it was! Everyone was singing, I strummed like crazy (woohoo!), people got senti, and we had the time of our lives!
3 more days of this, and then it's all over....
Oh well! In the meantime, planning to party next at the Guitar Point @ A-lobby :)
Very sleepy, but very very happy too!
Hope this ephemeral happiness lasts...
